Born in Balmoral, Claire was the daughter of Helene (LeBlanc) and Edmond Heppell.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Mary), Brian (Rosalie), Michael (June), Dale (Donelda), daughter Helen (Bob Forest) and her brother, Leo Heppell.
Claire is predeceased by her husband Allan, son Jimmy and grandson Lee.
Funeral will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church in Charlo on Friday May 25, 2018 at 11 am.
Visitation will be held at Maher’s Funeral Home, 421 Victoria St, Dalhousie on Thursday May 24, from 7-9 pm.
