Germaine Martel

Entourée de ses enfants au Centre de santé communautaire St-Joseph de Dalhousie, le mardi 2 juillet 2013, à l’âge de 81 ans, est décédée Germaine Martel. Née le 4 avril 1932, elle était fille de feu Donat Bernard et de feu Ida Guitard.

Elle laisse dans le deuil deux enfants Gerry (Carmelle Valotaire) et Adrienne (Denis Pottage), trois petits-enfants Damien, Dominique et Olivier, deux sœurs Thérèse et Fernande (Lionel Lavallée), trois frères Raymond (feu Anita), Alvin (Rose) et Clément, deux belles-sœurs Gisèle et Lorraine ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Deux frères Gordon et Raoul l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Il n’y aura pas de visite au salon funéraire. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’Église Ste-Trinité d’Eel River Crossing, le lundi 8 juillet à 11h00.

À la mémoire de Germaine, un don à l’unité des soins palliatifs du Centre communautaire St-Joseph serait apprécié.

Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Dalhousie.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother. She was the daughter of late Donat Bernard and late Ida Guitard.

She leaves behind her son Gerry (Carmelle Valotaire), her daughter Adrienne (Denis Pottage), three loving grand children Damien, Dominique and Olivier. She is also survived by two sisters Thérese and Fernande (Lionel Lavallée), three brothers Raymond (Anita), Alvin (Rose) and Clément, two sisters in law Lorraine and Gisèle, her many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers Gordon and Raoul.

The Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Trinity Church in Eel River Crossing on Monday July 8th 2013 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the palliative unit of the St-Joseph Community Health Center of Dalhousie, NB.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
