Our sincere condolences to June, Bruce and Curtis. 💔 Our sympathy to your sisters and thier families too. So sorry June that you couldn't get down to see your mom again, but so glad you've been able to talk with her weekly on the phone. She sounded like a very wise lady and she's passed on wonderful character traits to her daughter! 😁 Maybe all of her daughters?🤔😄
She baked I know and she must of taught you well, as your baking is superb!😋 She passed on many recipes, which my family and many others have had the privilege to enjoy! Her Christmas and gum drop cake are favorites. We also enjoyed her relishes and pickles and of course, wild blue berries in crisps and loafs! Oh, and cookies and date squares! Mustn't forget those, you were always baking them for Curtis and we were lucky to get some too!😋
God blessed your mom with a full life June, 95 years, wow! And as you said, smart as a tac to the end! She sure finished well. May she rest in peace, till you's meet again. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and memories of her.

My sympathies to Gertrude’s family. I enjoyed many conversations with her at the Nursing Home for the four years I was visiting there. We would chat about her crocheting, her days before the Home and the present days. She was always so interesting. She was interested in my mother too. Bless her. Rest In Peace Gertrude 🙏

My deepest sympathy to Gertrude's family and friends. So enjoyed caring for Gert, and hearing all her stories about farming, her beloved daughters and of course all her gardening and cooking tips. She will definitely be missed at the home.
