Jamie Eric Targett

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie Eric Targett, which occurred on June 9th 2021, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Jamie was born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick on June 26, 1976 to Douglas and Jeanette Targett.

Jamie is survived by his father, Douglas (Linda), his sister Krista (Glen), many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jamie is also survived by his only child, Victoria.

Jamie was predeceased by his mother Jeanette, his grandparents Nazaire and Bertha Vautour, and Lloyd and Doris Targett, Uncle Don Targett and Aunt Karen Branch.

Those who knew Jamie knew he had a love for loud Harleys, fast cars, horsepower and mean looking dogs. When he wasn’t grabbing gears as a truck driver, Jamie enjoyed spending time on his bike. With his quiet demeanor, Jamie kept his circle of friends small. He cherished lifelong friendships that outstood the years and the miles between them.

In lieu of flowers, go for a rip on your bike, crank the music and enjoy life – he would have wanted that.
