Heartfelt sympathy to Doris and family at this very sad time.  Lionel was a very special man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sherman enjoyed playing music with Lionel any time we went to Dalhousie for a visit or venue. also everytime he visited Lucy here he made a point of going to see him and play guitar with Lionel. We'll miss Him dearly. Our deepet sympathies to the family.

We share in this time of grief but also share in the love and memories of Lionel. He was a very special man who will be missed by our family. We will always cherish the memories of walking the 86 stairs to the beach, standing on the back deck overlooking the Restigouche River listening to his stories of things he would see and or observed over the years. And most recently cleaning mackerel at the kitchen table with my kids. Lionel will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be remembered forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy.

Dave and I are very saddened by the news of Nel’s passing.  Always had a great time with his family when we visited Dalhousie... he will be greatly missed by all who knew him..... sincere sympathy to  Doris, Lorraine, Brent, Robbie, Lucy, Donna and  Lise....

He was one of a few people that could play pretty much any musical instrument you placed in his hands, and again, he shared this with his Family.
