Né à Dalhousie le 9 avril 1940, fils de James LeClair et de Adelina LeClair.
Vaillant et fiable dans tous ses démarches, Lionel a travaillé au moulin de Dalhousie, Thompson Electric, au foyer des personnes âgés et était membre de la Legion Royal du Canada. Dans ses temps libre il aimait jardiner et faire du pain de pays, mais c'est jouer de la music qui lui a toujours apporté un bonheur incomparable.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Marie Noël; ses fils, Mathieu (Daisy) LeClair de Dalhousie, Rémi (Catherine) Vienneau-LeClair et René LeClair de Moncton; sa fille, Nancy (Troy) Montgomery de Texas; son frère, Edgar LeClair de Balmoral; ses soeurs Thérèse (Alcide) Hurteau et Dorothy Savoie; ses petits-enfants, Henry, Jane, Amy, Amber, April et Ande et plusieurs nièces et neveux. Outre ses parents il était prédécédé par un frère, Gérard et quatre soeurs Rita, Albertine, Aldea et Marie.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’Église St. Jean Baptiste de Dalhousie, Lundi à 16h00.
Il n'y aura pas de visite au Salon Funéraire.
Un don à l'Arbre de l'Espoir serait appréciés par la famille.
Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés aux soins du Salon Funéraire Maher de Dalhousie.
