Miss Lorraine Landry of Dalhousie passed away peacefully at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 17th, 2021 at the age of 87.
She was born in Dalhousie on August 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Henry Landry and the late Laura (Theriault) Landry.
Lorraine was born and brought up in Dalhousie, moved to Grand Falls then Plaster Rock before returning to Dalhousie where she spent most of her adult life. She was self employed working as a house cleaner in Dalhousie serving many satisfied clients over the years. She was a very private person who enjoyed listening to country music.
She is survived by nieces Linda (Alan) Michaud of Plaster Rock, NB, Betty (David) Reed of St. Almo, NB, Vanessa (Earl) Bethune of New Hampshire, Lisa (Randy) Cole of Massachusetts and nephew Paul (Joanne) Gagnon of Massachusetts.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Evelyn (Alfred) Gagnon, Jean (Claude) Carmont, brothers-in-law Alfred Gagnon and Claude Carmont as well as nephew Jim Carmont.
A graveside service will be held at the St. John Bosco Cemetery in Dalhousie on September 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of Lorraine. I was her landlord for many years after our Uncle Chester Miller sold the buildings to us. She was a very special person and enjoyed her life.
