Maria (Lapointe) Murray

Born in Eel River Crossing on May 31, 1928, daughter of the late Delima Lapointe and of the late André Lapointe.

She worked at the Campbellton and Dalhousie regional hospitals as a nurse until her retirement. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking, baking, bingo and playing cards. Many games of 45 were played with friends and family.

She is survived by her son Michael (Carol), grandchildren Jonathan, Shae-Lynn, Jeremy, Kayla, great grandchildren Marshal, Wakisa, Brandon, Savannah, Liv and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Marlene (Clarence) and her brothers and sisters, Anita Lapointe, Rita Leblanc (George), Cecilia Arseneault (Paul-Emile), Bella Arseneault (Leon), Andre Lapointe (Yvonne), and Armand Lapointe (Cory) and half sister Beatrice Clancy, and her half brother Ernest Lapointe.

A graveside service at the Saint Anthony's Cemetery in Glen Levit on Thursday June 9th at 2pm.
