Marjorie Duguay

In her youth she enjoyed playing badminton and speed skating. She later became a teacher and taught at the LER School for 19 years. She was active in the Golden Age Club and volunteered at the Dalhousie Nursing Home. She enjoyed Tai Chi, bowling, ballroom dancing and square dancing, but most of all she enjoyed playing “45” with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest and her 5 children: Roderick (Francoise), Janet (Ralph), Joyce (Paul), Donna and Deborah (Sheldon); her 7 grandchildren: Shanna, Tyler, Kelly, Candice, Andre, Jacques, Eric and 9 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her 5 brothers: Charles, Nicholas, Jackie, Lawrence and Wallace.

The funeral service will be held at St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie, on Monday, April 8th at 11:00 am.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
