Passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on May 1st, 2017 at the age of 90, Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” LaPointe of Dalhousie, wife of Eugene LaPointe. Born in Jacquet River on March 17, 1927, she was the daughter of Hector and Lucy Guitard.
Besides her husband Eugene, she leaves behind 4 children, Marsha, Linda, Barry, Donna, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Clarence.
A funeral mass will be held at St. John Bosco Church, Dalhousie, Friday May 12th at 2:00 pm.
Visitation at Maher’s Funeral Home, 421 Victoria St., Dalhousie, Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 and Friday from 12:30 until time of funeral.
