Reginald Joseph Russell

It is with great sadness that the family of Reginald (Reg) Russell, husband of the late Marie Lea Surette, announce his passing at the Campbellton Regional Hospital October 1, 2016 at the age of 93. Reg was born on November 12, 1922 to Edward and Ernestine (Côté).

Reg leaves to mourn one son Barry (Joane) of Eel River, four daughters, Bonnie Hamilton, Anne Whalen (Peter), both of Riverview, Barbara Nolan (Terry) of Moncton, and Joyce Letourneau (Chris) of Dalhousie, one sister, Janice Gauvin of Dalhousie, eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Marie, Reg was predeceased by two sons, Bernard and Evan, two brothers, Allan and Trueman, and two sisters, Irene (Albert) Winchester and Hazel Russell.

The funeral mass will be held at the St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie, Tuesday at 2:00 pm.

Visitations at Maher’s funeral Home, 421 Victoria St., Dalhousie, Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00, as well as Tuesday, from 1:00 pm until time of funeral.

Donations can be made to a charity of Donor’s Choice.
