Irene Carpenter was a gentle soul and thoughtful of everyone who met her. During my youth and young adult years she was a mainstay of my father's business, the O.G.Penegar Company, and the person there who, after I moved away from Gastonia, kept me in touch.

I am so grateful for Irene's faithfulness and professional conduct of the office she held and served so well and for so long.

Please accept my condolences in your loss and my expression of appreciation for the grace of her presence in my life and that of my family.
