Lena Louise Edwards, age 79 passed away on June 17, 2018. She was the daughter of James Robert Wright and Frances Ethelene Thomas.

Lena leaves behind two daughters; Juanita Starlene Edwards, Crystal Hope Edwards and a son-in-law Adrian Masonray Phillips.

Lena is preceded in death by a husband Vilous Bronson Edwards and a son Robert Wayne Stroupe.

Services will be held at the High Shoals Cemetery at 10:00 AM, Thursday ~ June 21, 2018, 103 State Street, High Shoals, North Carolina with Reverend Persephone Tillman delivering words of Comfort and Hope to Lena's family and friends. Active pallbearers are Desmond Tillman, Kevin Dorn and Chris Carpenter.
