Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, July 12, 2013, at his resi-dence.
He was a native of Dallas. He was born Oct. 29, 1964. He was the son of the Rev.
Leroy Mobley and stepmom, Jenny Mobley of Mount Holly, and mother, Nadine
Bingham Chastain of Vale.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Lora Mobley, and Mark
and Emma Bingham of Dallas; a brother, Anthony Greg Mobley; stepfather, Sam
Chastain.
Mr. Mobley is survived by his wife, Karen Mobley of the home; one son, Matthew
Mobley of Hudson; two daughters, Amanda Black and husband, Joe, and Maggie
Mobley of Maiden; two grandchildren, Mason and Graci Mobley of Maiden; two
stepsons, Jonathon Hancock of Canton, and Adam Hancock of Grand Blanc, Mich.;
one stepsister, Donna Shronce of Vale; stepbrother, Allen Summey of Vale; and
many cousins and friends.
Mr. Mobley was a member of Gaston Baptist Church. He was a lifelong truck driver
receiving awards for his safety and skills. He was a graduate of North Gaston
High School. He loved his fellowman, and he never met a stranger. He was a
die-hard fan of the Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Reds. He will be greatly
missed.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Dallas Funeral
Home, 212 W. Trade St., Dallas.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ridgeview Baptist Church, 105 Pine
Road, Mount Holly, NC with the Rev. Leroy Mobley officiating.
Interment will be private for the family at a later date.
