Rebecca Wilson Martin

Rebecca Wilson Martin, age 63, of Gastonia, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center, Lincolnton. She was born in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late Efird and Winnie Mae Avery Wilson.

Mrs. Martin retired from A. B. Carter, Inc. of Gastonia.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, James Martin and wife Pamela of Lincolnton; one sister, Carolyn Huffman and husband Steve of Dallas; niece, Tammy Curtis and husband Jimmy of Stanley; nephew, Anthony Huffman and wife Kelly and their daughter, Madison of Dallas; special friend, Faye McGinnis of Gastonia.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 P. M. Thursday at Long Creek Cemetery, Dallas with the Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Wilson; sister, Diane Wilson Pruitt; special friend, Sidney “Buck” McCall.
