My prayers go out to our Calderon family may our Lord give you the strength and comfort in this time of sorrow . My Tio was always in happy spirits. Was one of the most loving and kindest person i have known. My memory of my Tio Abelardo is with my brother Roy Calderon. My Tio Abelardo always called him Coy when my brother was little he always wore cowboy boots and carried a guitar. So every time my Tio came over my grandparents ( Ramon and Lilia) house he would always say Coy ponte las botas and bring your guitar so you can sing me Gabino Barrera. Boy my brother would take off running to go get his boots/guitar so he could sing for him.
Tio you will truly be missed may you rest in peace.

Our deepest condolences from our family. Unfortunately dad and mom are not able to travel due to health reasons. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Abelardo was a character, there was never a dull moment. One of the memories that comes to mind when we were kids and they still lived on Honeysuckle.
We had worked so hard building a snowman.
Decorated it with a scarf and top hat, he came over and took the hat and scarf.
We were torn but dad immediately knew who had taken it. He was a jokester and he was always playing jokes on people.
RIP Abelardo.
