

local nursing home in Dallas, TX. He will always be remembered as a
loving father, grandfather and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He was born in Paris, Texas on October 10, 1924. He served in the
Pacific Arena in World War II supporting the bombing of Japan. Following the war he joined Temco Aircraft which later became part of LTV. He retired from E systems where he specialized in building satellite communications systems around the world. A highlight of his professional career was traveling to China to help set up the communications system for President Nixon’s historic trip in 1972.
Adolfo was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Elsie. Survivors include four daughters; Patricia Thompson and her husband Gary of Dallas, Texas, Virginia Dooley and her husband Thomas of Rockwall, Texas, Laura Saxton and her husband Will of Fort Worth, Texas and Susan Thompson and her husband Frank of Garland, Texas. In addition, Adolfo leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 25, 2012 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy. Dallas, Texas.
