Obituary of Agustina "Tina" H. Acosta
Agustina "Tina" H. Acosta 81, of Cedar Hill, TX passed away September 19, 2022. She was born February 12, 1941 Our loving Mom, Guela, Chita, we all love you so much and will greatly miss you always. God has called you home too soon. You fought a good fight and held on as long as you could. We are proud of your strength but very sad you are gone. You left a huge void in our lives but we have faith that one day we will meet again. Mom loved traveling, beach vacations and going on cruises with the family. Spending time with the family and cooking homemade flour tortillas for the grandkids was her happiness. Her love for plants and flowers, especially rose bushes, was shown in and around her house. She retired from the Dallas Country Club after over 30 years of employment where she was dearly loved by her co-workers who enjoyed her humorous personality. Mom is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jose Luis Acosta and three children: Rosemary (Martin), Elena (Miguel), and Cesar (Cindy), nine grandchildren: Martin Jr. (Marisa), Adrian (Timea), Olivia, Elizabeth (Brandi), Brianna (Samuel), Danny, Raquel, Bobby, Judy, and six great-grandchildren: Austin, Sebastian, Adrian Jr, Alexander, Karson, and Kristopher. As well as numerous relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Collazo and his staff at Fresenius Kidney Care for their compassionate care of our mom. God’s Garden God looked around his garden and found an empty place He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain He knew that you would never get well on this Earth again So with the help of his angels he lifted you up high Where there is no sickness, no pain, no tears and no more goodbye He saw the road was getting rough and the hills too hard to climb He closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine” It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
