Al married his beloved wife, Veronica, on October 5th, 1957, they were married for 62 years. The life and love they shared was truly a beautiful thing and his final act of love is our loss, and they are together again.
Al was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 1st, 1934.
Al loved having his family and friends around, always the entertainer, wanting you to laugh and be happy. He took great pride in his family and was a man who lived his life to the highest standards, showing compassion and love to everyone he touched. He always encouraged his children to do the right things and be the best at what they do.
Al served in the Air Force and the Navy. Al met his wife Veronica while they were both serving their country.
He then began his career in the Printing Industry working on both the mill and merchant side. He spent over 50 years in the industry that he loved. He made lifelong friends from the relationships he had in his business dealings.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Veronica Dieckman.
He is survived by his children Albert Dieckman (wife Sheryl) of Dallas, Texas, David Dieckman of Pilot Point, Texas, Tommy Dieckman of Cooper, Texas, Kathy Steuck (husband Greg) of Sanger, Texas, and Todd Dieckman (wife Tracy) of Lewisville, Texas.
Grand Children, Ajay and Taylor Dieckman, David and Jeffrey Dieckman, Matthew and Kyle Steuck and Alexandria Dieckman.
Great grandchildren Chase and Blake Dieckman.
A memorial service will take place at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on March 15th, 2019 at 1pm, to remember and celebrate the life of Albert and Veronica Dieckman.
Veronica Dieckman, 87, of Corinth, passed on January 8th, 2019 in Corinth Texas with her family by her bed side.
Veronica was born in Toronto, Ohio on October 11, 1931.
Veronica loved having her family and friends around, she loved taking care of their needs and especially cooking for them. She was always sending things home with you when you left, something she may have just gotten, leftovers, no telling what ended up in the bag you were given. She had a sense of humor and always had a smile on her face, and two very favorite words, which she said right up to the end, and the family knows what they were. What will be missed most is her geniune , selfless and thoughtful personality, she made everyone feel special.

Veronica obtained her RN Bachelor of Nursing degree in West Virginia. She served in the Air Force as a flight nurse then worked at Methodist Hospital in Dallas and several VA facilities.
She is survived by her husband Al Dieckman of Corinth, children Albert Dieckman (wife Sheryl) of Dallas, Texas, David Dieckman of Pilot Point, Texas, Tommy Dieckman of Cooper, Texas, Kathy Steuck (husband Greg) of Sanger, Texas, and Todd Dieckman (wife Tracy) of Lewisville, Texas.
