Alexy Alcantar

He was born on March 30, 2000, to Xochitl Sosa and Andres Alcantar and was raised in Dallas, Texas. Alexy graduated from North Mesquite High School in 2018, and in 2020 he married Natalie Juarez.

Alexy served his country with distinction as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force for six years and worked as a firefighter for the United States Air Force. In every role he held, he carried himself with steady purpose and a readiness to step forward when others needed him.

He is survived by his wife, Natalie Juarez-Alcantar; his sons, Ezra Manuel Alcantar and Elias Lorenzo Alcantar; his parents, Xochitl Sosa Lopez and Andres Alcantar; and his siblings, Eddy Alcantar, Alix Alcantar, and Megan Boyer.

Beyond his service, Alexy found joy in the everyday pursuits that brought people together working out and weightlifting, working on cars, riding his motorcycle, and planning outings with his family and friends. Those who knew him will remember a loving father and devoted husband, a loyal friend, and a natural leader.

A Funeral will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, US, on May 7, 2026, at 3:00 PM with a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
