Alfonso Martinez Rangel

He was a hard working man. He got his first job at the age 14, and never stopped working. Even after he retired from Goodman Air Conditioning and Heating, where he worked for more than 30 years, he continued to find ways to keep himself fulfilled.

He resided in Houston, Texas for more than 47 years, but Dallas was always home to him. Throughout his life, he wed three times. Lucinda was his first love, whom he had three children with: Alfonso Jr., Arturo, and Patricia. Susana was his favorite dance partner with whom he had a daughter, Crystal. And Sonia made him laugh like no other. They had a son, Arturo. He loved his children dearly. They were his proudest accomplishment in life.

If you knew Alfonso, you knew he was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan. You wouldn't catch him without sporting a Dallas Cowboys ball cap or t-shirt. He also enjoyed fishing, and going to the casinos. At home, he enjoyed mowing his lawn, and doing repairs around the house. He would relax outside and spend time with his dog. But most of all, he enjoyed the time he had with his family.

Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents: Margarito and Rosa Rangel, his brothers: Toribio, Joe, Sylvester, Rosendo and Ernest, his sister Rosario, and his two beloved sons: Alfonso Rangel, Jr. and Arturo Santos Rangel.

He is survived by his children: Patricia, Crystal, and Arturo, his loving grandchildren who brought him so much joy, his brothers: Richard, Margarito, and Frank, his dog Tank, and numerous family and friends.

Alfonso will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved him.

Alfonso M. Rangel, de 81 años, fue llamado a su lugar de descanso eterno el 25 de agosto de 2024. Nació el 10 de febrero de 1943 en Dallas, Texas, hijo de Margarito y Rosa Rangel.

Era un hombre trabajador. Consiguió su primer trabajo a los 14 años y nunca dejó de trabajar. Incluso después de jubilarse de Goodman Air Conditioning and Heating, donde trabajó durante más de 30 años, siguió buscando formas de mantenerse realizado.

Residió en Houston, Texas durante más de 47 años, pero Dallas siempre fue su hogar. A lo largo de su vida se casó tres veces. Lucinda fue su primer amor, con quien tuvo tres hijos: Alfonso Jr., Arturo y Patricia. Susana era su pareja de baile favorita con quien tuvo una hija, Crystal. Y Sonia le hizo reír como ningún otro. Tuvieron un hijo, Arturo. Amaba mucho a sus hijos. Fueron el logro del que más se enorgullece en la vida.

Si conocías a Alfonso, sabías que era el mayor fanático de los Dallas Cowboys. No lo verías sin lucir una gorra o camiseta de los Dallas Cowboys. También le gustaba pescar e ir a los casinos. En casa, le gustaba cortar el césped y hacer reparaciones en la casa. Se relajaría afuera y pasaría tiempo con su perro. Pero sobre todo disfrutó el tiempo que pasó con su familia.

A Alfonso le precedieron en la muerte sus padres: Margarito y Rosa Rangel, sus hermanos: Toribio, Joe, Sylvester, Rosendo y Ernest, su hermana Rosario y sus dos amados hijos: Alfonso Rangel, Jr. y Arturo Santos Rangel.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Patricia, Crystal y Arturo, sus queridos nietos que le brindaron tanta alegría, sus hermanos: Richard, Margarito y Frank, su perro Tank y numerosos familiares y amigos.

Todos los que lo conocieron y amaron extrañarán muchísimo a Alfonso
