Alfredo was born in Monterrey, Mexico on January 12,1964 to Marcos and Gregoria Garay. He graduated from Sunset High School. Alfredo was first married to Adela Garay and lucky enough to fall in love a second time with his partner Carolyn DeLaRosa.
Alfredo worked as a truck driver for Bunzl for the last 10+ years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking out, going to the casinos, and caring for his fur babies Casper, Sofia and Buddy. Mostly importantly, Alfredo was a generous man and loved helping others with anything and everything he could do for them.
Alfredo is preceded in death by his father Marcos Garay, his mother Gregoria Garay, his brother Jose Garay, his sisters Maria Louisa Lozano and Maria DeLaCruz Garay, and wife Adela Garay.
Alfredo is survived by his partner Carolyn DeLaRosa, his sons Alfredo Garay Jr, Christopher Garay, Jeremy Garay, Jonathan Garay, Marcos Garay and Alejandro Garay, his stepsons Emilo Barrientos and Fedrico DeLaRosa, his stepdaughters Selena Rodriguez, Veronica DeLaRosa and Natalie DeLaRosa, his sisters Jesusa Cruz, Theresa Garay, Martha Zamaniego, Josefina Carranza, Alicia Cruz, Guadalupe Garay, Maria Anguiano, Irma Maher, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home followed by the a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
