Freddy, as he was affectionately known, was a lifelong bachelor. He enjoyed volunteering at the food bank and was a dedicated usher at St Augustine Catholic Church. Even when he wasn't feeling well, he was committed to being present at church.
Freddy was preceded in death by his parents, Macedonio and Julia Granado, his brother Miguel Angel Granado, and his sister Chayo. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Macedonio and Judy Granado; his sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Daniel Davalos; his brother and sister-in-law, Oscar and Rose Granado; his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ada Granado; his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Judy Granado; brother-in-law, Leo King and several nephews and nieces. Special gratitude is extended to Rose Granado, who provided care for Freddy in his final years prior to hospice.
Visitation will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home, located at 3050 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247, on November 25, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220, on November 26, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
