Alice Laureen Aubrey

Alice Laureen Aubrey (the DIVA) was born April, 19th, 1959 to Shurby Combs and Earleen Combs Polk in Dallas, Texas. She has three brothers and four sisters. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, twin brothers Roy and Ray Combs, sisters Linda Thornton and Cathleen Combs. She attended Elisha M. Peace Elementary, Zumwalt Middle School and South Oak Cliff High School. She went to Cosmetology School. She was a faithful and active member of New Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Alice was the life of the party, a true DIVA and had a bubbly loving personality. Alice knew no stranger and embodied Christ’s love for everyone She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters: Ethel Garner and Catherine Sampson, one brother, Henry Combs, four children, Rodney McKenzie, Jr., Antonio McKenzie (Lisa), Tèrrence Aubrey Sr. (Whitney) and Fre’Drika Ruben (Kendrick), seven grandchildren, Ariana, Alesha, AJ, Aaliyah, Anthony, Terilynn and Tèrrence II and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless play children.
