I remember her bringing great joy to her sister Elsie on a visit to Safford.  I was young and in awe of the accent she never lost. When her and nana Elsie were together there was always laughter! They are both missed.

I woke up with Alice on my mind this morning, and I think of the last year with the guest room ready with a step stool  by the bed, and I cry that we did not get to see her here in our home.
