

Aline learned how to sew from her oldest sister, Ermite, who preceded her in death many years ago. She became a seamstress and dressmaker in the 1950's and opened up Aline's Shop Couture in the 1960's. She made costumes and dresses for theatrical plays, wedding and 1st communion gowns, robes for priests and many more. She came to the United States in 1970 with many aspirations and began working in a factory while continuing to make dresses. Aline went to school to become a certified nurse’s assistant; she worked as a private duty practical nurse. She received numerous awards for being efficient, caring and prompt during her employment. Aline devoted her life to helping others and was always lending a hand to those in need.
Aline Darang is survived by her sister, Lourdes Paul-Emile. Her children, grand-children, and great-grandchild: Gerard and Danielle Darang, Gabrielle and Ashley Darang, Shana Taylor; Michelle Darang and Keith Coleman (Godson), Eric, Adriana, and Eleni Coleman, Keith Dominique, Krystle, and Marcus Coleman.
