Allan Dale Schuster Jr.

Allan Schuster, 45, passed away peacefully at Baylor Scott & White in Dallas on September 30. Allan was born at the Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. His family moved to Austin when he was just a baby, where he grew up and attended school, before settling in Dallas.

Allan completed a dual MBA and Master of Science in Finance program at the University of Texas at Dallas. Allan went on to secure a Client Success Manager position at Gartner.

Allan absolutely loved musical theatre. He enjoyed planning Broadway trips to New York with his partner, Jason, as well as supporting Broadway Dallas. Allan also had so much fun and found so much support with his Delta Sigma Pi brothers. He was so happy to be able to travel to Houston to receive his Silver Helmet earlier this year.

Allan was preceded in death by his father, Allan Dale Schuster, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Carol Miller Schuster, his sisters, Leslie (Grant) Reid and Elizabeth Schuster, his partner, Jason Stephens, and his beloved “babies” Sterling and Cora. He is also survived by an extended family that he found in recent years due to his passion for genealogy.

A memorial service will be held on October 28 at 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, followed by the interment of his ashes. In lieu of flowers, donations to Legacy Cares at legacycares.org and Delta Sigma Pi at deltasigmapi.org would be greatly appreciated.
