Alma Gwin

Alma passed away Saturday, March 19th after a short time in hospice and a long and love filled life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gwin in 2002. They had a wonderful 48-year marriage. Always laughing, always welcoming, always working and often traveling. And lots of music.

An incredible mother who was so much prettier than any of her daughters but never let them realize it. Her four daughters are: Pam Porter (Mark), Patrice Vermillion (Doug), Lydia Grace (Mark) and Diane Miller (John).

She was an incredible grandmother (and awesome babysitter) to Teresa Ulrich (Greg), Paul Vermillion, Kevin Vermillion (Casey Haney), Daniel Vermillion, Thomas Vermillion, Andrea Davis (Dean), Alan Grace, Laura Grace, Eric Grace and Will Miller.

Loving Great-grandmother to Camille Ulrich, Henry Ulrich, Rylee Davis, Levi Davis, and Jude Davis.

Sister to Muriel Hand (Randall Hand). Loving Aunt to Randall Hand, Cayce Hand (Vicki) and Raynelle Thomson (Larry Joe).

A Memorial Service is being held at White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Old Gate Lane in Dallas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016.
