Mrs. Alma Pauline (Ralph) McEwin

MeMe was a joyful daughter of God with a magnetic personality which sparkled with the love of Jesus. She loved everyone unconditionally and she taught us by actions more than by words. She was a person who was deeply spiritual who always honored Jesus by her life.

Departed this life on May 22, 2021 to her heavenly home surrounded by son Doyle and Joan. She was born on September 14, 1927 to Elmer Ralph Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Frailey) Ralph a 30th birthday present for her mother. The seventh of eight children born on Whoopie Cat Mountain, Elizabethtown, Hardin County,Illinois in a log cabin. She was named by her two oldest sisters after Miss Alma a school teacher at their one room school all eight children went to.

Preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, three brothers, husband Edward, son Russell and great granddaughter Ashley. Survived by son Doyle and wife devoted caregiver Joan, grandsons Brian, Marshall and wife Lisa Baby, Rusty and Heather, granddaughters Angeline and Paul, Jennifer, 11 great grand children and 1 on the way, 17 great-great grand children and 3 on the way. God daughter Tracie, special family friend Brent, numerous nieces and nephews.

We want to extend special thank you to all of her doctors who gave us over eight more years with her and to Hospice Plus who helped in the last few weeks, Pastor Keith Lough and the church family for all their prayers and spiritual support.
