Alva June Brown, 85 years of age was born on June 15, 1930 to Alva R. and Carrie Mae Simons whom predecease her. Alva is a longtime resident of Dallas, Texas and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1948. Alva was married to her husband Merle H. Brown for over 66 years until the day he passed away. She focused on spending time with her family most of all and on her quiet time she enjoyed to cross stitch and crochet. She was a longtime member at Lakeview Christian Church in Garland Texas until she fell ill.
Alva is survived by her sons Ronald W. Brown from Euless and Dwight L. Brown (Kathy) from Amarillo, Texas, her sisters Ruth Martin, Joan Adams and Pat Penny. Grandchildren Corey Brown, Aaron Brown, Nichole Strain, Matt Brown, Stacey Brown, Jason Brown and 14 Great Grandchildren.
