Alveria Allen Adams was born on May 5, 1947, to the parentage of Ezekiel and Mary Allen. She and her siblings were reared in Fairfield, Texas. They relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she was educated in the Dallas Independent School District, graduating from Roosevelt High School. She continued her education at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas.
Alveria united in marriage with Clem Adams on March 14, 1982, and to this union one child was born. She along with her husband, Clem and two children were charter members of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Karry D. Wesley.
Alveria was a hard worker, as she was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for over 30 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, DeRenzey and husband, Joe Walker Jr, son Rogers Chenevert III and wife Adra, grandchildren, Antonio Brown and Tione Chenevert; a brother, Henry Allen, sisters, Doris Parker, Mary Jefferson and husband Sydney, Earlene Argo and husband, Raymond, Darlene McGill and Carla Clay, an aunt, Willie Barker; uncle, Isaiah Watson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many coworkers who loved her dearly.
She will forever be remembered for her great culinary skills, genuine love for her grandchildren, and her mass collection of antiques.
