On April 10th, 2026, Alyssa Kozette (Kozy) Bullard left an immense void in this world. She was a Y2k baby, born January 24th and grew up in Old East Dallas, TX. She graduated from Texas Connections Academy High School in June 2018 and just recently began her higher educational journey at Dallas College striving for a science degree in the hopes of becoming a forensic specialist.
Alyssa was a lover of the arts! Most days her headphones filled her life with a steady stream of all genres of music. She read & wrote poetry and wished someday that her lyrics may be sang on stage. Alyssa was a big fan of Edgar Allan Poe, delved into cinematography as though she was a professor of it, and attempted to watch every horror film ever created. She was a fanatic for anything Asian from anime to K-Pop, the Korean language, dining at any local sushi eatery, and any concert she could possibly attend. She loved so many things in this world, but above all else she loved her family.
Alyssa Kozette was quick witted, fun spirited, beautiful inside and out, and had a breathtaking smile she passed on to her son, Elijah. She lived with a fire in her soul and much love in her heart. Alyssa’s energy was so fierce that it stills exists with us today. She left too many in sorrow, but she lives on through us. May she and those she left behind be at peace evermore.
“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
