After graduation from high school, she moved to San Antonio to attend business school. She met her husband, who was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. They married in 1955.
She is predeceased her husband, Gerald Allen Stuart and son Adrian Mark Stuart. Amalia (Emily) leaves behind her children Laura Verba and husband John, Lyndel Doran and husband Michael, son Andre Stuart and wife Estela, grandchildren Ariel Griffin, Austin Stuart, Evan Doran and Calahan Stuart. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, TX. Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Saturday August 28, 2021, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Northside Chapel, 3235 Lombardy Ln., Dallas, TX. followed by a graveside service.
