

Andrew Montemayor Siller, age 98, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on November 30, 1926, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Aurelio and Juanna Siller, Andrew lived a life marked by service, hard work, and unwavering kindness.
A proud veteran, Andrew served his country for over 20 years— in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force as part of the 101st Airborne Division. After his military service, he worked as a skilled diesel mechanic with Gelco Truck Leasing, dedicating more than 27 years to the company.
In 1952, Andrew married the love of his life, Lownell. Together, they built a strong and loving family, raising three children. Andrew was a man of many interests. He found joy in woodworking, cooking, solving jigsaw puzzles, and watching classic and modern films. Among his favorite actors were James Cagney, Dwayne Johnson, and Johnny Depp.
Those who knew Andrew will remember him as a friendly, helpful man whose warm smile was always close at hand. He was a steady presence in the lives of his family and friends and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lownell Siller. He is survived by his sons, Andrew M. Siller Jr. and James L. Siller, as well as his nephew, David Siller.
A funeral service for Andrew will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, followed by a committal from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
