Andy had an encyclopedic memory and a great love of World History. He could easily have taught multiple courses.
He had a unique sense of humor that was quite entertaining.
Andy was a music (both opera and classical) lover and enjoyed reading and fine dining. He was quite the fashion plate back in the day.
Andy’s passion was Contract Bridge.
He was a Contract Bridge Grand Life Master and participated in many Tournaments.
He once played with famed Actor Omar Sharif and gave bridge lessons to a member of the Jerry Jones (Dallas Cowboys) family.
In addition, Andy professionally managed Contract Bridge groups in the Dallas Area.
We all miss him sorely.
