On May 10, 1979, Anessa Faye Joseph became an angel on earth to the parentage of Donald and Elaine Joseph in Dallas, Texas. Anessa accepted her Savior at an early age. In her early childhood, she attended Dallas ISD public schools, later moving to Natchitoches, Louisiana to receive her high school diploma from Natchitoches Central High School in 1997. After graduation, she moved back to Dallas to continue her education at ATI Career Training Center studying respiratory therapy technology. In 2005, she obtained her degree in respiratory care and began her career as a licensed respiratory therapist at Our Children’s House at Baylor. Anessa loved the children. She specialized in pediatrics and working in the neonatal intensive care unit. She dedicated 8 years to children in the ER at Children’s Medical Center, and later taking her expertise skills and high-spirited demeanor to many other medical facilities. Anessa worked in respiratory therapy for 18 years.
Anessa was an adventurous dare devil at heart with a love for rollercoasters and skydiving. She was fearless. She was always the life of the party and loved to have a good time. In November 2021, Anessa unexpectedly began having health complications. August 10, 2022, God gained another angel. Anessa had no more fight left within her and went Home to be with her Heavenly Father. She will truly be missed.
Anessa is preceded in death by her father, Donald N. Joseph, her paternal grandparents, Willie and Virgie Joseph of Natchitoches Louisiana, and maternal grandparents Matt and Mary Parker of Port Gibson, Mississippi.
Anessa leaves to cherish her three children, Cyrus D. Kemp, Jr., Ajaila D. Joseph, and Antony C. Hughes, Jr., mother Elaine M. Parker (Joseph), sisters Lakeitria S. Joseph, and Charlene L. Smith, niece Layla R. Sykes, nephew J’Coryon D. Rivers, and a host of extended family, relatives, and friends.
