

Angela Marie Runnels Andrade beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend passed away in Dallas, Texas on March 13, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends. Angela was born in Dallas, Texas on September 25, 1974. Angela was blessed by parents, Angelita and Bobby Runnels, who provided unconditional love. Angela attended The Hockaday School where she graduated in 1992. Upon graduation, Angela attended Tulane University where she graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree from A.B. Freeman School of Business. After graduation, Angela moved to New York where she met her husband Robert Andrade. Angela went on to receive her Master's Degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Angela and Robert were married for eleven amazing years and were blessed with the births of their two sons, Ryland and Archer. Angela was a dedicated mother and wife. She devoted tireless energy to every aspect of her two sons' lives. Ryland and Archer are a true reflection of the love, encouragement and energy their mother provided for them. Angela was passionate about helping others through her leadership and participation in numerous organizations including the Junior League of New York, Theta Alumni of New York, Catholic Charities and as a reading specialist at the Mandell School. Angela was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Her relentless optimism and pursuit for her "silver lining" drove Angela to maintain a wonderful and positive outlook. Angela enjoyed every moment she had with her loving husband and beautiful children. Angela will be remembered for her caring and adventurous personality and devoted commitment to not only her family but also to her many friends. She truly loved and treasured the many friendships she had and the time she was able to spend with each of her friends. Angela was preceded in death by her mother, Angelita Ximenez Runnels. She is survived by her husband Robert Andrade; her two sons Ryland and Archer Andrade; and her father Bobby Runnels.
There will be a reading of the Rosary at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220 on Tuesday, March 17, from 6:00-8:00 pm. There will also be a Memorial Service at noon on Wednesday, March 18 at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75244.
