Anita was raised in Kemp, Texas and attended Crozier Tech in 1960. She married John Pesina in 1963 and the couple had three children. She was an embroidery machine technician at Custom Chenillo where she worked for more than thirty-two years.
In her spare time as a grandmother, she loved attending the many events of her grandchildren along with watching her Cowboys and Rangers. Her family meant the world to her; including her "honky" son.
Her family and friends will always remember her as being a loving, caring, and dedicated person to her family. She was also so funny, and spoke her mind. You never had to guess what how she felt because she was very honest. She also loved to cook for her family.
She is preceded in death by her sons, John "P-Nut" Pesina and Michael Pesina; parents, Juan and Maria Ortega; siblings, Tony Ortega, Leonard Ortega, Josie Ortega, Juan Ortega, Carlos Ortega, and many other beloved family members.
Mrs. Pesina is survived by her spouse, John Pesina; daughter, Denise Duran and her husband, Ray Duran; son, Joe and his wife, Anissa Pesina; Ray-Ray Pesina; "honky" son, Derek McDonald and his wife, Kim McDonald; grandchildren, Natalie Rowden and her husband Lance Rowden, Monica Soto and her husband, Gabe Soto; Crystal Duran, Raechyl Parham and her husband, Cameron Parham, Randilyn Williams and her husband, Chase Williams, Denise Gonzalez, Sergio Gonzalez, Allison Pesina, Stephanie Pesina, Kimberly Pesina; several nieces and nephews; eleven great-grandchildren, and her beloved "Kitty Kitty".
