
Ann Akard O’Brien passed away on January 22, 2022 in Dallas, Tx. She was born on March 6, 1937 to Walter and Donna Akard. Ann and her husband Harold were married for 62 years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. For 25 years, Ann was the conference coordinator for Annual High Country Nuclear Medicine Conference. Ann graduated from Highland Park High School and The University of Oklahoma with a BA. She was also a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Ann loved playing bridge, golf and coaching softball as well as traveling. She adored her family and was a devoted mother and wife. She and her husband built the castle of their dreams on a hilltop in the land of sunshine and enchantment where they lived with their loving family and could see God’s glory everyday as the sun rose and set on their beautiful mountains. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Sheri O’Brien; sons, Walter O’Brien (Karen) and Mathew O’Brien (Lynda); grandchildren, Sean O’Brien, Darryn O’Brien, Collin O’Brien, Kyle O’Brien, Chris O’Brien and Justin O’Brien; extended family members, Preston Morrison and Kaitlyn Morrison.
