Mrs. Annie R. Pierce was born on January 1, 1944, in Clarksdale Mississippi to the late James and Roberta Hawkins, and preceding her in death husband, Andrew J. Pierce Sr. 
 
Annie resided in Chicago Illinois majority of her life where she graduated from Englewood High School, as well as Cortez Peters Business College.  Annie moved from Chicago, IL to Dallas, TX where she became a member of the Golden Chain Baptist Church from 2012 and served faithfully until the time of her illness.
 
Annie was loved by many. She enjoyed spending time relaxing at a bingo, spade, or any bid-whist table. Bowling, vacations, and being a gracious host when you were welcomed in her home. Each family member can state various memories with Annie over her life time.
 
Annie leaves to cherish her memory 5 children Latreece, Charlitha, Arletha (Joseph), Andrew Jr. & Annette; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and host of relatives and friends.

I didn’t know how to write this message without having the urge to cry or get upset by the fact my Nani is not here anymore, sometimes you have to face the fact that people won’t be here anymore but this one I didn’t expect. I’d forever miss my Nani’s words before I left that night telling me she wanted me to be something, and make my family proud and she’d always love me her “Lil Brandon” awh I’d love to hear that one more time, I’d keep you always close to my heart my guardian angel & you’d always be by my side anywhere I go, anywhere I touch and see. I love you Nani always. I miss you.

I hate that I wasn’t with you in your unknowingly last days but you always said “if the lord lets me live” this was your calling home i love you deeply i will see you in a later lifetime the memories we have will remain permanent and the “hey girl “ conversations will always be me and you. I love you say heyy to daddy for me always ~BryBry💓

Funny, but I never addressed you by any other name except Mama. Nothing else seemed appropriate.  I will always remember how you elongated my name,  not Sandy but Sandyyyyyyy. I will always remember your smile and laughter. I thank you for loving me and my girls. You will forever be in my heart ❤️.  Latreece I love you dearly.

At the end of the day, nothing else matters. The Up's & Downs don't matter either, for me it's the memories. The moments shared, the time spent and the things only you and I know. This was the year momma and I took u to Cheesecake Factory 💕 for your birthday, after receiving the bill 😯 also I he year we decided that the only places you'd be going are ALL YOU CAN EAT 😂

This was one of our many girls day breakfasts at Denny's. And the day I introduced you and momma to Snapchat 😂 And when I noticed just how much my daughter favors you.

"Gramere" a name I've said since I can only imagine, Gramere was not only a conversation starter but it was all MINE, no one else in the world including my children could call you that. Where can I start, I have 40yrs of memories that could fill this page for days. I choose to remember you as the woman who's smile and laugh brought joy to your heart and who's eyes could give you the " STARE DOWN" which I think Bry has taken your title lol. But I hope you're resting peacefully I miss you so much, tell Boo daddy I miss his grits & I'm sure Brandon was there to Greet The Gramere Lady! Please watch over us.
