

Anthony Amador Lopez was born at St Paul Hospital on January 5, 1966 in Dallas, TX. He attended the Fleming Montessori School as a young child where he learned to speak French at the young age of 3 years old. Anthony then attended Stonewall Jackson Elementary School in Dallas and went on to attend school in the Talented and Gifted Program at Alex W Spence School in Dallas. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School where he played football alongside the former NFL Great, Tim Brown. Anthony was named to the All District 2nd Team in football for his outstanding play while at Woodrow Wilson High School. After high school he attended the University of Texas Austin at the young age of 17 but transferred to Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he received his Bachelor Degree in Literature in 1988. Anthony was fluent in French and Spanish from his years of study starting at the age of 3. After his graduation Anthony went on to work for the Social Security Administration and worked there for a few years until he decided he wanted to take a break and travel abroad across Europe. Anthony went back to work for the Social Security Administration for several years after his travels. Anthony is preceded in death by his father, John C
Thompson. He is survived by wife, Luz Alicia Thompson; mother, Alice Lopez Weinberger and many aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him unconditionally and will always remember his as a “Special Fun Loving Person.”
