

Antonina "Nina" Lazo Bautista was born on August 22, 1950 in Zambales, Philippines as one of 14 children to Dionisio Lazo and Sabina Academia Lazo. Nina entered eternal life on January 6, 2026 in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Plaridel Querijero Bautista, of 25 years in 2003. She was also preceded by her siblings: Francis Lazo, Leopoldo Lazo, Restituto Lazo, Amanda Lazo, and Crisostomo Lazo. She is survived by her daughters Michelle Sanderson and Dawn Rojas, and grandchildren James, Sean, Kian and Marshall. She is also survived by her siblings Teresita Maneja, Concepcion Lazo, John Lazo, Blanca Camero, Remedios Raquipo, Frida Dinglasan, Dionisio Lazo Jr. and Corazon Khanhkham along with 17 nieces and nephews and 16 grand nieces and nephews.
Nina was the Class President of the Marian Nursing Class of 1972 in Manila, Philippines. She came to the United States in 1973 with a nursing degree and achieved a career spanning over 30 years as a nurse, most of which was at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
A viewing will be held at Laurel Land located at 6300 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75232 on Monday, January 12 at 4pm and a Catholic Rosary in memory of Nina will be held at 6pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 14 at 10am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church located at 4015 S Hampton Rd, Dallas, TX 75232. Intermittent will follow at Laurel Land in Dallas, TX.
