He was later raised in Mexico City.
He was married to Elvira Gomez in 1974 and the couple had Guadalupe Pizana, Alejandro Pizana, Carlos Pizana, Rodolfo Gomez, and Jose Gomez. He worked as a painter and handy man.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on his yard, house, and making salsa on Sundays for his family. He also loved sharing stories about his adolescent adventures out in the countryside of Guanajuato, most of which were tall tales. Stories ranging from running faster than horses to swimming across the largest lake. He would speak proudly of his great accomplishments, all while recounting them with a proud face.
His family and friends will always remember him as a strong, hard-working man who devoted his life to his kids in order for them to have a successful future. He led by example and accomplished many things regardless of the struggles he had in life.
He is preceded in death by his wife Elvira Gomez of 49 years, adopted mom Soledad Hernandez, and children, Guadalupe Pizana, Carlos Pizana.
Survived by sons Alejandro Pizana, Rodolfo Gomez, and Jose Gomez and his grandchildren Noemi Hernandez, Alejandro Hernandez, Jose Ivan Pizana, Alejandra McCall, Cristian Pizana, Ricardo Pizana, Ivon Pizana, Carla Pizana, Bianca Gomez, Rudy Gomez, Anthony Gomez, Leslie Gomez reat grandchildren Alexis Rodriguez, Luis Romero, Brian Pizana, Jeovanni Pizana, and Laura McCall.
A visitation for Antonio will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A rosary will occur Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228.
