I send comfort and love to all the family and friends of this wonderful man.  Linda all my love till I can deliver a huge hug.  May he transition gently and the memories of his presence endure for always.  Many blessings!

To Linda, Family, and All.  I was introduced to Ziggy two years ago, and joined the VFW/Bob Williford/Ziggy Jam the very next Sunday.  When I entered this Jam, only a few had arrived, & Ziggy motioned me to come sit in the empty chair next to him.  I have sat in that same chair every Sunday for the last two years.  I consider myself one of the luckiest guys around for the gaining of this great relationship.  We both seemed to have a lot in common, as to sense of humor, work related experiences, vast recall of music, and social encounters.  Although it was not polite to talk while others are singing,  Ziggy & I talked & told  each other so many crazy, wild, weird, fun stories at the Jam.  We were either laughing, talking or singing.  We sang lots of songs together.  How I wish I had met him sooner, and that he had not been called away, much too soon.  I am 86 years old, and old folks don't really get much opportunity to acquire a special friend. But I, indeed, did.   As stated often, Ziggy will leave a big hole.  But he also left some great, vivid memories.  I will miss him terribly.

I know Butch thru Linda, his long time partner.  We got to hang out at a mutual friend’s crawfish boil.  And man, he was so much fun.  He sung along to all the songs.  Shared stories and was just easy to hang with.  Really wish we had done that double date we talked about.

One of my favorite memories of Butch is how he would, without fail, come and give Linda a good night kiss during our Friday Night zoom hang outs.  Seriously, every single time, around 11PM he would pop in, give his kiss and pop out.  It was lovely.

Butch was a very happy man. Always a smile on his face a d Always willing to help others. I will always treasure my street dance at the block party. What a fun guy. RIP
