Augusta Alice Silva was born on August 7, 1925 and lived her early childhood years in Marfa, TX with her parents James L. Ramey and Augustina M. Ramey. Alice attended school in Dallas, TX. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and later attended TCU University in Ft.Worth, TX. She spent the majority of her time as a housewife and mother. Alice’s hobbies included cooking, music, Elvis being one of her favorite entertainers, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, going out to eat with family, caring for her grandchildren and attending their school functions, traveling and being blessed to fulfill a lifetime dream of a cruise to Mexico. Alice was preceded in death by her parents James L. Ramey and Augustina M. Ramey; husband Frank Silva; sons Frank Valentine Silva and Michael Patrick Silva; grandsons James Silva, Daniel Silva and Rudy Silva; great grandson Joshua Silva; and great- great granddaughter Aria. To cherish her memories, she leaves seven children; Nellie Ojeda, Robert Silva, Mary Schafer, Joanne Saucedo, Barbara Grimaldo, Eva Sosa and Clarence Silva; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
