Aureliano Padilla Cortes

Visitation will be from 3-9 pm, Thursday, October 26. Rosary will be recited at 7pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Lane Dallas, TX 75220. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Friday October 27 at Santa Clara Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane Dallas, TX 75220.

Aureliano P. Cortes was born in Michoacán, Mexico to Frolian and Margarita Cortes on December 17th, 1939. He went to school in the town of Emiliano Zapata located in the state of Michoacán, Mexico. He married Angelina Alonso on November 28th, 1959, also in the town of Emiliano Zapata. He worked as a Fleet Service Clerk at American Airlines for 27 years. He was a proud member of the Transport Workers Union Local No. 513, AFL-CIO. He was a long time parishioner and usher at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Dallas, TX. He cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren and especially his great grandchildren who kept him sharp and alert.

Aureliano is preceded in death by his parents Frolian and Margarita Cortes and two sons.

Aureliano is survived by his wife Angelina and 7 children. Margarita Cortes, Angelica (Alfonso) Morales, Jose (Maria) Cortes, Maria Christina Cortes, Jaime (Isabel) Cortes, Letie (Lucio) Martinez, and Connie Cortes. Aureliano was also the proud grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Diego Sandoval Jr., Beto Navarro, Abigayl Morales, Matthew Cortes, Jasmine Cortes, Sergio Martinez, Angel Martinez, Erien Campbell
