She is survived by her sons Scott Henley of Plano, TX, and Grant and Meredith Henley of Austin, TX. In addition, she leaves her sister Susan H. Kimbrough of Charlottesville, VA and her two nephews and families, Lance and Abigail Kimbrough of Charlottesville, VA, and Kevin and Crystal Kimbrough of Austin, TX.
She attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated Cum Laude in 1967. She worked for the US Department of Labor from 1967 - 1997 where she was the first female Wage and Hour investigator in the Dallas field office. She joined St. Michael's and All Angels church in 1967 where she spent the balance of her life volunteering and contributing. From teaching Sunday School to many years on the Altar Guild and finally her rewarding time participating in the Pastoral Care Ministries, St. Michael's was a constant and important part of her life. Post-retirement she enjoyed travelling, her time with the church, as well as being actively involved with the Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni organization and the Dallas Panhellenic Association.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Michael's and All Angels Church care of the Pastoral Care Ministries. Services will be held Saturday, February 16th at 11 AM in the Chapel at St. Michael's and All Angels Church.
