Barbara Shehane

Barbara Jean Moore Shehane, beloved mother, Nana, sister, and aunt went to be with the Lord 3/6/14. She was born 10/22/51 to Edward and Olive Moore, who predeceased her. Barbara graduated from Bryan Adams High School, Dallas Baptist University, and earned a Masters degree from Amber University. She worked as a pediatric RN at Baylor Hospital and Our Children’s House for a combined 30 years. She is survived by children David, wife Lindsey, Michael, wife Melissa, precious grandson Will, Katy Hughes, fiance Josh Kempf, precious granddaughter Desiree. She is also survived by sister Carolyn Ward, brother-in-law James, nieces Jennifer Glanville, Lynn Egert, nephew Barrett Ward, and their families. Barbara loved her family very much and would do anything to help them. She was very proud of her Welsh heritage and was very tender hearted to all her pets. She was a faithful member of Springcreek Church. She will be missed, but we have faith in the promise of John 3:16. Visitation will be Sunday, 3/9/14 at Sparkman Crane from 4-7 pm. Funeral will be Monday, 3/10/14 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery. .
