Barbara Kay Stephens

Barbara Kay Stephens, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at home with family. She was born October 26, 1938 in Paris, Texas to Howard Lee Loyd and Gladys Estelle Hargroves. Barbara was a devoted widow to Ronald Wayne Stephens, caring sister and mother, and loving grandmother.

In her spare time, she enjoyed attending church, skiing, crafting, exploring new places, traveling and spending time with her family.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful woman of our Lord. She was gracious, full of life and loved her family with her entire heart and soul.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Stephens; sister, jerry Elizabeth Loyd and brother, David Wayne Loyd. Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Stephens; granddaughter, Taylor Oster and husband Roger Oster II; great-grandson, Roger (Tripp) Oster III; sister, Virginia (Jenny) Hoffpauir; brother, Harold Lee Loyd and her many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, Texas 75228, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
