Beatrice G Martinez

Bea was born in Lowell Township Polk County, Minnesota on June 15,1947, to Jose & Maria Gutierrez. She graduated from N.R. Crozier Technical High School. Bea was married to Santos P. Martinez on April 24, 1976; they were married 50 years.

Bea worked as a Data Entry Operator for Southwestern Bell for 35 years. She enjoyed traveling, sudoku and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas.

Bea is preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Maria Gutierrez, brothers, Joe, Augustine, Frank, Jesse, Angel and David Gutierrez, sisters, Rosa Martinez, Maria P Gutierrez, Juanita G. Huerta, Marcelina G. Quintero, and Tomasa Walton.

Bea is survived by her husband, Santos P. Martinez, her three children, Jose Santos Martinez (Cheryl), Carlos Noe Martinez (Nuvia), Gloria Maria Sanchez (John), and her seven grandchildren, Dana, Lana, Rocio, Angelo, MarcelIo, Liliana, and Manny, and her two brothers, Emilio Gutierrez (Maria) and Tony Gutierrez and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2026, from 4-8pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery. Rosary will begin at 6pm.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday May 21,2026 at 11am at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, North Chapel. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery shortly after mass.
